Dr. Maximilian Bimler is an orthodontist in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel and one of the most experienced specialists in his field in the region. For many patients Dr. Maximilian Bimler the personified Wikipedia of orthodontics. This is not only because the Wiesbaden native, born in 1965, is constantly expanding his knowledge and skills by attending seminars and international congresses and virtually devouring specialist publications on dentistry and orthodontics. It's also in the genes: Dr. Maximilian Bimler's grandfather, father, uncle and cousin were or are also orthodontists. He is therefore the third generation to practise.

Dr. Maximilian Bimler says: “Not only in real life but also in our jobs and our professional environment, there is an ongoing development. Innovations in orthodontics are always welcome and often helpful but always need a critical appraisal. I only trust products and new ways of treatment that have proven successful at least 5 years after their release. Momentarily, we are testing bracing with inbuilt computer chips which record the time the braces have been worn”.

Together with his patients he finds the perfect time to start a treatment offering a perfect treatment plan for an efficient treatment. Good to know: “Already during the early stages of our treatment planning, a main focus lies on how to keep treatment results stable. That is why we like to see our patients four and ten years after we have finished the treatment for a proper check-up. This quality management document is important for us as well as for the patient”.

Dr. Maximilian Bimler demands high standards of work and materials. He relies on premium materials from Canada and adhesives from the USA. In both countries there are highly specialized family businesses which successfully work together with orthodontists in Dr. Bimler’ s family for generations.
